Hi Erwan,

Since our one day training in Boulder last October, Mark and I have been working on incorporating more natural movement into our lives, and it is going well! We have also been doing a strict paleo diet for the past 6 weeks and have seen changes in our bodies--they are leaner, slimmer, and more resilient. We are excited to hear about the DVD's! We also hope to attend a longer seminar in the near future. Please keep posting your seminars and other events.

All the best to you! You are inspiring!

Erwan: You are moving fast! Congratulations. I am looking forward to your DVD's. Make them happen.
By the way I turn 70 on April 1st. I feel younger now than I felt when I attended your course in West Virginia last September. I have incorporated a significant number of the movements you taught me into my regular gym routine. Keep up the good work.

Your stuuf looks awesome, and I love the fact that it will be practical in the events that computers, etc, cannot control. I hope to one day get to a retreat, and REALLY am looking forward to the dvd's! Count me in!

Erwan, I also have been captivated since reading the Men's Health article. I am a competitive paddler and am on the water whenever I can. During the offseason, I had routinely been a "gym" rat doing weights, kettlebells, and the like. Since learning about you, I have taken more of my training outside. I routinely run like crazy in the woods, up and down hills, lift heavy logs, climb trees, etc. It's hard work...but it makes me feel like a kid again! AND it's using muscles that I never would have trained in the gym. My concern, if I am ever able to do one of your seminars, is how you treat people who may have a chronic injury? I have a bad knee..it's not debilitating, but I couldn't imagine doing all kinds of jumps and deep knee bend type movements without injuring it more. I'm looking forward to the DVD's!

@ Micke: thanks, I always appreciate positive feedback. I have no idea when is the next time I will hold an event in CO. I have requests from all corners of the world really. But my top priority is to work on the material (DVD especially) that will enable anyone to get started, as I am very aware that not everyone can attend one of my workshops, and that I also cannot clone myself, last that it will take some time before there are competent, certified MovNat coaches to train more people locally.

@Ramon: definitely, I will address that question, not a MovNat facility blueprint though, but simple elements that one can use or build to optimize training at home or outdoors.

@Tinuk: I know there is not much information about the MovNat training system, and all this will be explained in a near future, but FYI MovNat aims at training skills, not body part, so the starting point is not to target body parts, but natural movement skills.
The essence of natural movement is to be practical and adaptive, not to "work out" such or such isolated muscle or muscle group.
Will post something about these DVDs also in the near future, after my return from Brazil.

Erwin, just wanted to say I love your stuff, movnat is great! I have a request though if possible for your book or for your dvd's. There should definitely be a section which details how too build an optimal training facility, whether outdoors or indoors, and how it would look. I am going to build one, sometime in the future and could use the advice as I am sure many others would too. Thanks

Erwan,
I found your article in Men's Health over a year ago, and it stuck to my mind since. It is a relief and great joy for me to finally find a philosophy that grasps not only your "ready-for-anything" approach, but also your respect for nature at the same time. It is indeed a refreshing wind I feel.

My burning question for you; Do you have a plan to host another seminar here in CO in 2010? I regrettably missed the one back in Oct, -09, and I cannot wait to watch and learn from you at your next event.

Thank you for giving us a chance to learn from you, and put our life back in balance!

I would be very interested in DVD's of your fitness program, I have been trying to get out of the zoo and into the wild for quite some time in the last year or so but I find myself having trouble coming up with valid exercises to work every major muscle group in my body. Let us know when you plan on releasing them and if there is a preorder.
