Certification Events
The May and June certification events are the only MovNat© certifications that will feature instruction by MovNat© Founder, Erwan Le Corre. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn first-hand from the MovNat Founder himself!
May 17-20 – DKB Fitness in Santa Fe, NM – 20 seats – INVITE ONLY
May 31-June 3 – CF Durham, NC – 20 seats – INVITE ONLY
June 14-17 – CF Balboa in Orange County, CA – 24 seats
June 21-24 – CF Athlete Lab in Minneapolis, MN – 24 seats
August 3-8 – Summersville, WV – 16 seats – The cost of this special event is $2,990. This includes meals, accommodation, and transportation between the campsite and Charleston, WV airport.
August 16-19 – StrengthBox in Toronto, Canada – 16 seats
August 23-26 – Upstream Fitness in Boston, MA – 24 seats
Registration/Tuition for the certification is $2,240* (except WV).
Early-bird Registration, available until 6 weeks prior to the event, will be $1,990* (except WV).
Payment plans of 2-4 payments are available, and require a 25% deposit (non-refundable) on the full registration cost; the full amount must be paid before the certification.
*Cost does not include transportation, accommodations, or food (except in WV). We DO NOT offer discounts for the certification.

*Swimming and Combative skills are not covered in this certification.
Candidates will receive MovNat© certification study materials four weeks prior to the certification event for which they are registered.
MovNat Candidate Trainer Minimum Physical Competency tested by The 12 MovNat© Physical Competency Prerequisite Tests.
Physical Skill and Conditioning
We expect MovNat© Certified Trainers to be physically skilled and conditioned in order to be able to demonstrate proper form and to be inspiring leaders.
Candidates will be required to demonstrate proficiency in the 12 MovNat physical competency tests which are designed to assess both technique and performance. Failure to pass these tests will result in no certificate being awarded at the end of the course. The candidate will have three months after the training to submit video proof that they can pass the tests to receive their certification.
Quality Instructor-to-Student Ratio
The certification workshop maximum attendee limit will be enforced in order to maintain a quality instructor-to-student ratio. Thank you in advance for not requesting that we make special considerations for you by allowing you to register for the workshop once it has been sold out.
All workshops are on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis; we do not “reserve” spots in these events. Full attendance and participation is required in order to be considered eligible for certification; candidates not meeting this requirement will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance in lieu of the Certified MovNat© Trainer credential.
Eligibility Requirements
Candidates must meet minimum eligibility requirements that demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy & physiology and/or kinesiology by possessing at least one of the following:
- Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Exercise Physiology/Science, Kinesiology/Biomechanics, Physical Education, Sports Medicine, etc., or a closely-related Allied Health field (physical therapy assistant, occupational assistant, registered nurse, respiratory therapist, etc.), OR
- A credential from an NCCA-recognized organization: NASM, NSCA, ACSM, ACE, RKC, PTA Global, ISSA, NCCPT, NESTA, Cooper Institute, CHEK, or Poliquin
- Candidates must be CPR/AED certified.
Documentation showing proof of eligibility will be submitted to the MovNat© Certification Department after registration.
Additional Recommended Knowledge
- In addition to required CPR/AED, First Aid certification is highly recommended.
- Functional Movement Screen (FMS). Becoming FMS certified ensures that candidates possess the requisite knowledge for identifying fundamental movement deficiencies. The FMS certification will become a mandatory requirement for future advanced and/or specialty MovNat© certifications, as well as for future MovNat©Affiliates.
Prerequisite Timeframe
Candidates who do not meet the minimum eligibility requirements for the MovNat© trainer certification will be allowed to register. However, a certificate will not be awarded until all prerequisites have been met and documentation is on file with the MovNat© Certification Department. Candidates will have no more than a 3-month grace period after successful completion of the certification workshop and exams to submit proof that prerequisites have been met.
Certification Disclaimer
Attendance of the MovNat© Trainer Certification course does not guarantee certification of the attendee. In addition to the physical competency tests, and eligibility requirements, there will be written tests covering the material presented in the course. Failure to pass these tests will mean failure to receive the certification. These tests must be passed during the course. If a candidate fails to pass the certification for any of the above reasons, they can retake the course at a later date for $500 to complete the certification.
