I like to say that that “movement comes from the inside out.” When teaching movement efficiency, MovNat instructors frequently remind trainees to be “mindful” when moving. It doesn’t mean that we need to think of movement in an analytical way when moving, but we do want to sharpen our proprioceptive sense to finely tune motor-control.
