MovNat® Thailand – TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read these MovNat Terms and Conditions, they form the basis of the Contract between you and MovNat, LLC.
Your contract is with MovNat, LLC, a US based company specializing in Natural Movement training. Outdoor training carries inherent risks, and if you are concerned about participating in our outdoor training, please contact us prior to booking.
1. Your MovNat Workshop
A MovNat outdoors training area, designed by MovNat® founder Erwan Le Corre, will be the basis for your 6.5 day training. You will be under MovNat supervision at all times during your training, and training will be adapted to any limitation and/or injury you may have. Training is structured, scalable and carries the normal risks involved with being in a natural environment. The Koh Lanta, Thailand Workshops are held in a warm climate with prolonged exposure to sun and water. MovNat will require that you wear natural protection, as no chemical products are allowed due to the impact it will have on your health and the delicate ecosystem of the region.
2. Reservations, Deposits and Other Methods of Payment
This contract is in effect when initial payment is received. If upon reviewing your Health Questionnaire, MovNat believes that your attendance at the Workshop may put you at risk, MovNat will contact you to discuss your options, and a full refund may be given. When you make a booking you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions. We also do not accept deposits, checks, cash, delayed payments, barter or grant discounts. Payments must be made in full exclusively through EventBrite/Paypal.
3. Extension of Stay
If you wish to extend your stay and participate in a subsequent week of MovNat training the option can only be provided if space is available. MovNat seminars are limited to 12 participants and we will not book beyond that limit. However, if you choose to retain your own lodging and food, arrangements may be made for you to attend the subsequent workshop, but a space is not guaranteed. Please advise MovNat as early as possible to allow time to make the necessary arrangements. In any case, local MovNat staff may be able to assist you in booking local accommodation elsewhere.
4. Refund Policy
Any cancellation or early departure by you during your course, or any limited use of our facilities or activities included in the cost of the course will not entitle you to a refund. Refunds for weather conditions will not be given. Payments are non-refundable after 4 weeks prior to the event, except in the event of death or serious illness as documented by a physician. Cancellations made 4-8 weeks before the course will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations 8 weeks or more before the course will receive a full refund minus a USD 250 booking fee. Participants will be able to change to a different course up to 4 weeks before their original intended course if accommodations are available for a USD 250 booking fee.
5. Travel Insurance
NOTE – TRAVEL INSURANCE IS MANDATORY IN ORDER TO BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TRAINING.
Participants in any multi-day MovNat event must have their own medical/health care insurance coverage. Their insurance policy must include medical/health care and repatriation in case of illness and accident while traveling abroad (when the Movnat event takes place in a country that is not their country of residency). Participants are required to provide MovNat with a proof of their insurance policy before the event takes place. While not required, it is quite recommended to also have a Travel Cancellation insurance. It will help the participant to cover their investment in case of late cancellation (see our Refund Policy). Most insurance companies have Travel Assistance products that actually cover both the medical/health care insurance AND the cancellation insurance. Popular products amongst travelers are found at:

6. Modifications by MovNat
It is unlikely that we will have to make changes to your workshop, but we do plan the arrangements many months in advance. Occasionally, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. We may modify the list of activities (e.g. sports) and facilities (e.g. equipment and services) included in the workshop, together with the dates of opening and closure of the centers (depending on the occupancy of the relevant center). It is specified that all information given in respect of ‘outside the center’ activities is subject to change; the organization of these activities, together with the consequences of any modification and/or cancellation of these activities will remain under the sole responsibility of the relevant outside providers.
7. Cancellation by MovNat
We reserve the right to cancel your course in any circumstance up to 6 weeks before the date of departure. For example, if the minimum number of guests required for a particular course is not reached, we may have to cancel it. In this event we will inform you or your travel agent as soon as practical and you will have the choice of having a Full refund of all monies paid or accepting an offer of an alternative course of comparable standard from us, if available (we will refund any price difference if the alternative is of a lower value). This would exclude independent travel arrangements. We will not cancel your course within 6 weeks of the date of departure unless either compelled to do so by reasons of force majeure. If Erwan Le Corre is unable to provide training for a seminar, a certified MovNat® instructor will instruct the seminar in lieu of him.
8. Price Changes
The prices for MovNat courses as shown are subject to change, especially closer to the event date. If you have already paid for your reservation, your price will not change.
9. Liability
MovNat does not accept liability or pay you compensation where the performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected by ‘force majeure’. This means that we will not pay you compensation if we have to cancel or change your workshop in any way because of unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control.
In these booking conditions ‘force majeure’ will include (but shall not be limited to) war, threat of war, riot, civil or political unrest, industrial dispute, terrorist activity threatened or actual in its consequences, natural or nuclear disasters, fire, adverse weather conditions, closure of ports or airports, air traffic control delays, technical problems of transport or other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
10. Travel Requirements
You are responsible for knowing what is required for you to travel into the country prior to your departure. MovNat will not offer refunds due to your inability to enter the country.
Non-local persons must check with the Consulate or Embassy for entry requirements.
11. Valuables
MovNat strongly recommends that you leave valuables at home and takes no responsibility in case of loss or theft. The accommodations are camp/tent style and do not lock. MovNat can safeguard any valuables you do not wish to leave in your bungalow.
12. Complaints and Arbitration
MovNat takes your satisfaction very seriously and strives to give you an excellent experience. If you have a problem during your course, you are obliged to inform our local staff immediately who will endeavor to correct the issue immediately. If your complaint is not resolved during your stay, please follow this up in writing within 28 days of completion of your workshop.
You must communicate any complaint to our local staff without delay and complete a report of your complaint while on site. If you fail to follow this simple procedure we will have been deprived of the opportunity to investigate and rectify your complaint while you were with us and this may affect your rights under this contract.
13. Responsibility Waiver
a) We do our best to provide you with the photographs and illustrations which should give you an impression of the facilities offered. These photographs and illustrations aim to give you an idea of the standard of the facilities, but are not contractually binding.
b) We accept responsibility for ensuring that the workshop which you book with us, is supplied as is described on our website. If any part of your course is not supplied as promised due to the fault of our employees, agents or suppliers,we will pay you appropriate compensation if this has affected the enjoyment of your course.
c) Facilities available ‘outside the center’ (e.g. sports activities, excursions) together with connections arranged on the clients request will remain under the sole responsibility of the outside providers who organized them.
d) If you or any of your party suffer death, illness or injury whilst overseas arising out of an activity which does not form part of your package course or an excursion arranged through us, we shall offer assistance and cooperation to the authorities and the party’s immediate family, however this does extend to financial compensation to us.
e) The contractual terms of the companies that provide the transportation for your course will apply to this contract. These may contain terms which affect your rights to compensation. You may ask for copies of the relevant conditions of carriage from our offices.
f) The contract is made on the terms of these booking conditions, which are governed by Colorado State and US Federal laws, and the jurisdiction of the Colorado courts.
g) By booking and attending the seminar you accept the inherent risks of physical training in an outdoor environment and will not hold MovNat accountable for any injuries due to these inherent risks. MovNat takes every precaution to train you safely within this natural environment and within your physical limitations.
