Brian Betancourt is a movement strategist and exercise physiologist with over a decade of experience coaching athletes, leading performance programs, and designing educational systems.

He currently serves as Director of Curriculum & Performance at MovNat, where he leads the development and evolution of the organization’s instructional framework.

His work focuses on refining certification pathways and building benchmark systems that reflect real-world capability, not just theoretical fitness.

Brian is recognized for bridging the gap between science and application, translating complex research into clear, usable training methods.

Before joining MovNat, he held leadership roles in clinical health, commercial fitness, and performance coaching, including serving as lead exercise physiologist at Baptist Health South Florida.

He also taught exercise science as an adjunct professor at Florida International University, where he developed curriculum and trained future professionals.

These roles shaped his ability to communicate complex ideas in practical, human-centered ways that improve both performance and long-term health.

At MovNat, he has integrated research from fields like neuroscience and rehabilitation to make training systems more evidence-based, accessible, and effective.

Brian is known for his precision, honesty, and respect for individual potential, with a coaching style grounded in clarity and continuous refinement.

His mission is to help people rediscover their natural capabilities and build lasting strength, resilience, and adaptability. Outside of his work, he practices Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and writes about movement, identity, and performance.
