Kento Imaeda

Japan Team Instructor & Expert Trainer
Kento Imaeda from MovNat JAPAN extends his deepest gratitude to Erwan, the founder of MovNat, for this press release and partnership announcement. He acknowledges that it is undeniable MovNat JAPAN exists today thanks to Erwan’s cooperation and sincerely appreciates this opportunity.
He is pleased to introduce himself and share more about MovNat JAPAN.
After graduating from high school, Kento joined the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) and served for four years before transitioning to the fitness industry to pursue a career as a sports trainer.
In 2022, he discovered MovNat, traveled to the United States, and obtained MovNat Certified Trainer Level 1 and 2 certifications.
During the five-day certification program, what resonated with him the most was MovNat’s foundational philosophy: “Natural Born Heroes,” the belief that every human is born a hero.

He realized that MovNat’s Natural Movements are the very foundation of all exercise, sports, and fitness. MovNat’s approach represents the essence of fitness itself.
Recently, fitness trends in Japan have diversified, including yoga, Pilates, dieting, bodybuilding, dark-room workouts, and running. However, in many cases, goals and methods are mismatched, leading to ineffective results.
For example:
• Some people take Pilates classes to lose weight.
• Others attend yoga studios just to alleviate a lack of exercise.
When the chosen method does not align with the actual goal, it becomes difficult to sustain long-term commitment. As fitness professionals, Kento believes they have a responsibility to communicate facts correctly. However, the misalignment between services offered and consumer needs has always existed due to marketing strategies by fitness companies and a lack of literacy among consumers.
Throughout history, industries that fail to resolve misalignment between services and customer needs tend to be phased out and optimized over time. For this reason, Kento firmly believes that MovNat’s Natural Movements, being the root of all fitness, will always remain relevant and necessary.

MovNat’s Natural Movements are designed for humans to move as humans were meant to move. Because of this, they are universally applicable and should be adopted as a core fitness approach to extend healthy lifespans for all people.
Addressing Japan’s Health Challenges
In Japan, while life expectancy continues to increase, Kento notes that the country faces serious health challenges, including:
• The rise in lifestyle-related diseases
• Increasing medical costs
• Growing concerns over mental health and stress
He strongly believes that MovNat’s Natural Movements serve as a solution to extend Japan’s healthy lifespan.
To address these issues, MovNat JAPAN will collaborate with:
• Government agencies and municipalities
• Medical institutions
• Educational organizations
• Corporate wellness programs
Furthermore, Kento is committed to training as many MovNat Certified Trainers as possible and ultimately producing a MovNat Master Trainer from Japan. This is his lifelong mission.
He encourages everyone to keep an eye on the future of MovNat JAPAN.
